ABOUT THE DOMAIN
Dom Pérignon, a Benedictine monk who was appointed cellarer of Hautvillers Abbey in 1668, left an indelible mark on his era through his contribution to the creation of champagne wine, which was originally a “wine.” quiet” (without bubbles). The rise of Napoleon, friend of Jean-Remy Chandon, in 1804, marked the beginning of a period of uninterrupted commercial success for the house of Moët & Chandon, whose reputation is now worldwide. “Dom Pérignon”, the house’s prestigious vintage, is undoubtedly the most famous champagne in the world. The House began selling its vintages in 1936 (in the 1921 vintage, produced in only 300 copies), and enjoyed instant worldwide success. This vintage, whose distinctive bottle is shaped like an 18th century flask, is produced only in the best years. The number of bottles of Dom Pérignon produced is a well-kept secret by the LVMH group, which today is the owner of the Moët et Chandon house. Other creations now complete the range, such as the rosé cuvée, a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir which gives the wine aromas of red fruits, candied citrus fruits and empyreumatic notes; as well as the Dom Pérignon P2, a second life offered to its emblematic vintage, Dom Pérignon Vintage, which then ages longer, between twelve and fifteen years in the cellar.

ABOUT THE CUVEE
This generous and complex wine, with its magnificent aromas of dried fruits and toasted bread, is distinguished by its impressive length on the palate. Dom Pérignon is highly prized by connoisseurs for its extraordinary aging capabilities. Over the years, its effervescence fades to give way to an incomparable creamy richness.
