ABOUT THE DOMAIN
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is much more than just a wine estate: it is a living legend which, with each vintage, strengthens its place in the pantheon of great wines of the world. Its history, marked by major historical events and passionate actors, gives it a special aura. The Estate, with its 25 hectares carefully distributed between some of the greatest wines of Burgundy, is the guardian of ancestral know-how, combining both tradition and innovation. All stages of production, from the vine to the bottle, are characterized by a tireless search for perfection. And despite the immense reputation of the Romanée-Conti plot, each wine produced here is treated with the same absolute dedication.
ABOUT THE CUVÉE
The Romanée-Saint-Vivant from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is a jewel of Burgundy. Every drop of this wine testifies to the perfect harmony between a grape variety, Pinot Noir, and its original terroir. Cultivated on an ideally exposed central hillside, the grapes benefit from the best conditions to express all the richness and subtlety of the grand cru. The low annual production makes each bottle even more precious.
From the first sip, you are transported by an explosion of aromas. Notes of black fruits, combined with deeper touches of leather and fig, offer a rich and varied aromatic palette. But it is with age that this wine reveals all its grandeur: notes of undergrowth and black truffle emerge, adding complexity to an already very developed bouquet. Its texture, both rich and silky, as well as its long finish, make this wine an ideal partner for refined dishes. A well-aged romanée-saint-vivant with a game dish or grated black truffle is an unforgettable taste experience.
