ABOUT THE DOMAIN
The history of the Méo-Camuzet estate is a rich one, marked by the vision of Étienne Camuzet who, at the beginning of the 20th century, carefully expanded his estate by choosing the best plots in the region. His acquisitions, including the famous Clos de Vougeot, demonstrate his keen sense of terroir and quality. Today, with Jean-Nicolas at the helm, the estate continues this tradition of excellence, striving to create wines that perfectly embody the quintessence of Burgundy: power and elegance, depth and delicacy. The imprint of Henri Jayer, an emblematic figure of Burgundy, is still felt, thanks to his valuable advice on winemaking and aging. Rigorous control of yields, meticulous aging in new oak barrels and respectful bottling guarantee wines of the highest quality. The continued collaboration with Emmanuel Rouget on Cros Parantoux confirms the estate’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
ABOUT THE CUVÉE
Located in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, the 1er cru Aux Brulées benefits from an enviable geographical position, a stone’s throw from the illustrious Richebourgs. This proximity is felt in the glass, with a wine that evokes all the character and depth of its illustrious neighbors. Méo-Camuzet offers a bright wine, overflowing with aromas of red fruits, punctuated with notes of leather and musk. It is a wine which, despite its attractive youth, deserves to be awaited. After a decade in the cellar, it reveals all its complexity and elegance, testifying to the greatness of Burgundy.
