CONCERNING THE DOMAIN
Butcher father & son Champillon
The Boucher father and son house is located in Champillon, a picturesque Champagne village, nestled on the hillsides overlooking Epernay, the capital of champagne.
A small town, Champillon with its 72 hectares planted with vines owes its reputation to its unique panoramic site dominating the Marne valley and to the quality of its terroir.
This one, classified as 1er cru, faces others as famous as AY, wine of King Henry IV and Hauvillers, cradle of champagne…
During the 20th century, five generations of winegrowers succeeded one another, contributing in turn to the development and notoriety of the Butcher House in the image of our founding ancestor Maurice DEVARY.
André BOUCHER, Gilles and now Sylvain, all harvesters-handlers, elaborate in their image in their cellars a winegrower’s champagne resulting from this traditional know-how passed down from father to son, which combined with modern working techniques, ensures quality followed by their vintages.

Comparison with the Bollinger BSA vintage: Each time, this champagne provided more pleasure than the Bollinger. a kinder side, more easily accessible. She gave a lot of pleasure: a gold dress; on the nose, mainly a chalky and buttery, brioche side to which I will add a blood orange and resinous aspect.
On the palate, it is a dense and rich champagne, which coats the palate superbly.
The Cuvée Fin de Siede Brut Prestige Champagne Premier Cru from Domaine Boucher Fils & Co generally goes quite well with pork, fatty fish or seafood dishes.
